Isfahan Healthcare City Ceremonial Groundbreaking

This fall marks a true milestone for Isfahan City and future generations. On October 4th we celebrated groundbreaking at the new Healthcare City Building on East of Isfahan. This state-of-the-art building is the centerpiece of the Prestige Land Iran Co. Ltd. With 35,000 square meters of research space and 16 program facilities, it will more than double our research capacity and serve as the hub for the Medical College’s significantly expanded bench-to-bedside translational research initiatives Professor Majid Samiei (Head of International Neuroscience Centre, Hanover, Germany ) observed.

Within its walls, world-renowned faculty members will work together with a singular purpose and shared passion: to solve the most critical health care needs of our time.
He declared top physician-scientists will be recruited to work in the building, leading to a collaborative environment designed to accelerate breakthrough treatments and therapies for the most prevalent and deadly diseases. Together, research teams will work across specialties with our own researchers, with scientists at Isfahan Medical University, and with other researchers across the country and the world to rapidly convert discoveries made in the laboratory into improved diagnoses, treatments and even cures for patients. Also in this ceremony Isfahan Mayor Dr. Saqaenejad and municipality superintendents broke ground for the new Isfahan Healthcare City.
Isfahan Healthcare City (IHCC) is the Iran’s first healthcare city that aims to provide a globally accredited regional medical center offering healthcare services, medical education, and research facilities. Following the groundbreaking ceremony, construction has begun in full swing. Construction of the facility is scheduled to be completed by the end of next year.
